Here's some photos of our road trip on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail where we hit up 6 bourbon distilleries which included Maker's Mark, Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Jim Beam, and Woodford Reserve.
Our first stop was Maker's Mark which we actually had to come back to. We went on a Tuesday and statewide elections were being held. They don't sell alcohol on election days. :( I so dearly wanted to dip my own bottle of Maker's in the hot red wax, too! The boys agreed we could take the tour and come back the next day for me to dip my bottle.

Jeff and I are actually ambassadors of Maker's Mark. What does that mean? Somewhere in one of their barrel houses we have our name engraved on a barrel. When our barrel is finished, they will contact us if we wish to buy a bottle from it. Plus we get awesome Christmas gifts from them. LOL
